I see Color and movement as acts if beauty that touch us and give us a moment of introspection. An act of freedom. An act of pause from all that is. An act of connection to our senses to ourselves.
Before starting to working with dancers my inspiration came from nature. I would spend time outside working from direct observation to then take the paining into the studio and push it forward. As always, I was interested in the relationship of forms and colors and the energetic movement created by the interaction of the elements and lines.
